Mobile development
iPhone and Android app development
App development for a new product or continued work on an existing app, with one codebase for iPhone and Android.Ready to build an app?
Tell us what exists today and what the app needs to do. We will come back with the next step.
End-to-end mobile app development
Mobile app development starts with the first version and the main user flows, then moves into screens, backend and API where needed, testing, and release preparation. The goal is an app people can use and you can keep developing.Technology
React Native for iPhone and Android, with React and a codebase that can continue to evolve. What is built
Screens, user flows, backend, API, login, payments, and integrations according to what the product needs. When it fits
A new app, a mobile MVP, or continued development on an existing app.
Who this is for
A new product
You have an idea, specification, design, or web version, and now need to turn it into a mobile app people can use.An existing app
The app already exists, and it needs new capabilities, fixed flows, better performance, or continued development on a cleaner foundation.
What React Native means in practice
React Native is a good fit when the product needs to reach both iPhone and Android without building two separate products. The codebase stays structured, and features such as camera, location, notifications, login, payments, or device connections are added only when they serve the product.
How the work proceeds
Specification
We agree what the first version must do, and what waits for a later stage.Development
We build the screens and logic in React Native, and a server or API if the app needs them.Testing
We check the main flows on iPhone and on Android.Release preparation
We prepare the build and what the store accounts require. Apple and Google decide whether a submission is approved.
What can be included
- User-flow specification and turning an idea or Figma file into screens
- AI features, when they are part of the product rather than decoration
- Connections to wearables, cars, TVs, tablets, or IoT, when the app needs them
- A backend and API
- Payments and login
What affects the amount of work
An estimate needs enough context: what the app includes, what already exists, and what needs to be built. After a first specification step, we can come back with a practical direction:- A new app, or continued work on an existing one
- How many main flows are needed
- Whether the design already exists
- Whether it needs a server, login, or payments
- Connections to devices or outside services
- AI features that belong in the product
Pages that can help before development
If it is not clear what belongs in the first version, start with the MVP page. If the app needs an admin system or portal, the web systems page is also relevant.- To decide what belongs in the first version of the appMVP development for a first version
- To build an admin system, portal, or backend around the appCustom web system development
- To add an assistant, smart search, or document processing inside the appAI development and integration
- After launch, continue with monthly fixes, improvements, and feature developmentMaintenance and ongoing development
Mobile app development questions
Do you build for both iPhone and Android?
Yes. In most cases the app is built with React Native so both platforms can be covered from one codebase. Before development starts, we check whether any feature needs special treatment on one platform.
When is platform-specific code needed?
Platform-specific code is needed when a feature depends on the operating system or the device itself, such as camera access, location, notifications, payments, external devices, or App Store and Google Play requirements.
What does the client need for store submission?
You need an Apple Developer account and a Google Play account, the app name and description, icon, screenshots, privacy policy, and details about data collection and permissions. We can help prepare the build and technical materials, but store approval is decided by Apple and Google.
Can the service include a backend and admin system?
Yes, when the app needs them. The work can include an API, database, login, payments, permissions, and an admin system for content or users. If the app does not need a server, we do not add one just to make the product more complex.
